Technology Consulting That Understands Your Industry
The technology itself may be similar from one organisation to another, but the business problem rarely is.
A SaaS company scaling its development team faces different pressures from a healthcare organisation managing sensitive information, a construction business connecting systems across projects, or a retailer depending on eCommerce platforms.
Choose your industry to explore the technology challenges I can help you address.

Every industry has its own operating environment, but many of the technology problems I encounter are surprisingly familiar.
The software project keeps slipping. Costs are increasing without clear progress. Nobody owns the technology strategy. The business has become too dependent on one developer or supplier. Systems no longer fit the way the organisation works. Leadership cannot get a clear picture of technology risk.
These are business problems with a technology component, and solving them usually requires more than buying another product.

Advice Based on What Your Business Needs, Not What Someone Wants to Sell You
White Internet Consulting is an independent technology consultancy.
I am not an MSP (Managed Service Provider), software development agency or technology reseller. I do not make money from selling you software licences, infrastructure or a particular technology platform.
That matters because sometimes the right recommendation is to replace a system. Sometimes it is to improve what you already have. And sometimes the technology is not actually the problem.
My role is to help you understand the situation, ask the difficult questions and make better-informed technology decisions.
Technology Experience Across Different Business Environments
My technology career spans more than 35 years, from software engineering and architecture through to technology management, software delivery and senior technology leadership.
That experience has included work across financial services, software and SaaS, healthcare, government, engineering, resources, retail, eCommerce, travel and other technology-dependent environments.
I have worked with organisations ranging from smaller businesses and growing technology companies through to large enterprises and public sector environments.
The industries, technologies and organisations have changed considerably over that time. One lesson has remained remarkably consistent. Good technology decisions start with understanding the business problem first.
Your Industry Is Only Part of the Picture
Industry experience matters, but it is not the only factor.
Your organisation may be facing a software project that is running late, uncertainty about its technology direction, problems with a development team, concerns about a supplier, increasing technology costs or simply a technology decision where you would value an independent second opinion.
Start with the industry most relevant to your organisation, explore the consulting services available, or talk to me about the specific technology challenge you are trying to solve.
Don’t See Your Industry?
The industries above reflect areas where my experience is particularly relevant, but they are not a boundary around the organisations I work with.
If your business operates in another sector and you are dealing with a significant technology decision, software delivery problem, technology leadership gap or technology risk, we can still talk.
The important question is not whether your industry appears on this page. It is whether my experience can help you understand and solve the technology challenge you are facing.
